Is there a monthly fee?

No. PayBot is free to install and use. There is no monthly fee, no seat pricing and no trial clock. PayBot earns 3% of each sale your community makes.

Are Stripe's fees included in the 3%?

No. Stripe charges its own processing fees on every payment, usually 2.9% + 30¢ for a domestic card. Those go to Stripe and apply separately.

How is the fee collected?

PayBot's share is taken as an application fee on each sale in your own Stripe account. The rest of the payment lands in your Stripe balance straight away.

What happens to the fee when I refund someone?

If you refund a member, PayBot's platform fee on that sale is not returned. The member's role is removed automatically.

Do I need a Stripe account?

Yes. Connect your existing Stripe account from the dashboard, or create one in the same step. You can also do it with /setup in Discord. Payments always go to the account you connect.

I'm on an older PayBot plan. Does this change anything?

No. Servers already on a flat PayBot plan keep it. The 3% model applies to new servers.
