We’re excited to share a major feature in development: Payment Links. This will give Discord server owners even more flexibility in how they offer subscriptions, while maintaining PayBot’s core philosophy of zero technical complexity and automatic membership management.
The Vision
Right now, PayBot’s /subscription command is the easiest way to sell subscriptions in Discord. Members type the command, select a tier, and check out—all without leaving Discord.
But what about members who aren’t in your server yet?
What if you want to:
- Share a subscription link on your existing website
- Post a link on Twitter or social media
- Send a subscription offer via DM
- Include it in your email newsletter
- Add it to your Linktree or bio
This is what Payment Links will enable.
How Payment Links Will Work
Payment Links will work similarly to our existing /subscription command, but they’ll be shareable URLs that can be posted anywhere:
For Members
- Click the Payment Link (from anywhere on the web)
- Get redirected to a PayBot-hosted checkout page
- Select their membership tier
- Complete payment on Stripe
- Get instantly redirected to your Discord server with their role assigned
For Admins
- Create a Payment Link in PayBot’s dashboard
- Choose which membership tiers to include
- Set custom branding (your server logo, colors)
- Share the generated URL anywhere
