A few weeks ago we laid out the community blueprint: three stacked tiers that match how members actually behave. A one-time Lifetime tier for the 80% who come and go, a recurring VIP tier for the daily-engaged, and a Mastermind tier on top. The foundation of that whole structure is the one-time tier. Until now, it lived behind the $89 Large plan. Today it’s on every paid plan, starting at $9 a month.

## Why one-time is the foundation

The one-time tier is the base the rest of the model rests on. Most of your members aren’t daily-engaged. They buy in when motivation is high, go quiet when life gets busy, and come back months later. A monthly subscription punishes that pattern. They cancel the first time they go silent, and most never re-subscribe. A one-time purchase doesn’t. They pay once, they keep their role, and the door stays open for whenever they come back. No churn, nobody gets kicked out. That’s the safety net the VIP and Mastermind tiers stack on top of.

## What changed

One-time products used to require the Large plan. Now any paid plan can create them, starting with Small at $9 a month. The mechanic is simple. The buyer makes a single up-front payment and gets a Discord role. No recurring billing, no subscription to manage. It’s the same role grant your subscriptions already use, paid once instead of monthly.

Stand up your one-time foundation tier first (`/setup → Manage your products → Create One-Time Product`), then stack a recurring VIP tier on top for the members who want more contact. That’s the full blueprint, and it no longer depends on which plan you’re on.
